Deciding which home to buy is a complex, nuanced process. Deciding who is best suited to help you find a home you will love is relatively easy — you're already here!
Whether you are a seasoned veteran or in the market for your first home, the qualities that determine which home is right for you is something that only you can decide. My job is to work with you to get an understanding of your home needs and then present you with appropriate options the moment they appear on the market.
Take a moment to browse the listings or contact me with more information about what you're looking for. Meanwhile, check out what other clients have said about working with me and look over some of the properties I've sold.
If you see a house in the area or want to know more about recent home sale prices. I am happy to provide you with all the information you need to make the right decision. Contact me for all of your real estate needs and I will get back to you right away.
Real estate values have grown considerably over the last few years in the towns I cover: South Orange, Maplewood, Millburn, Short Hills, Summit, Chatham, Madison and Convent. With a tight market, the better homes tend to sell quickly so getting in early is crucial. Sign up for email notices of my carefully screened properties as soon as they are listed.
In this kind of competitive market, you need an advocate who can advise you on evaluating properties, guide you through the bidding process, and present your offer to the seller in the most compelling light. As a top producer in the area, I know how the intangibles of selling your bid can often make all the difference in securing your new home.
When you're ready to buy a home, email or phone and I will be happy to go over your home needs free and without obligation.
Finding the right home is not about luck; it's about working with the right person. Don't waste your time driving all over town hoping to stumble on a hidden gem. I know the market and by working together I can help you find exactly what you're looking for.

Financing Your Home >If You Are Self Employed
There's no question that it could be more difficult for you to get a mortgage loan if you are a free lance viola player than if you are a government accountant. Traditionally, lenders have been more cautious when evaluating loan applications of buyers who are self-employed than people who work for a regular salary.
However, if you are self-employed, there is no reason for you to shy away from applying for a home mortgage loan, especially if your earnings have been in the same field for at least two years. It is a good idea to meet with one or more loan officers before you begin your search. They will probably want to analyze your tax returns for the past 2 or 3 years, keeping in mind that many self employed people can look impoverished on paper, since you can write off some expenses that salaried individuals can not. Try to get pre-approval from the lender, and ask for a letter stating that you have pre-qualified for a loan which your real estate agent can attach to any offer you submit on a home. This will make you more attractive to the sellers.
